Exchange Rate Heaven
This past winter I was in India, also known as exchange rate heaven. The rate of American dollars to Indian rupees is 1 to 48.109. In India, I could get lunch for 50 rupees (and it was a good lunch). I could go shopping and buy scarves, sheets, or blankets for under 200 rupees. I came back to the US with more Indian goods than I could imagine, and I didn't spend more than 200 American dollars.
Europe, on the other hand, must be exchange rate hell. The American dollar is only worth 0.718 euros.
